DeTox uses detoxifying natural herbs recognized customarily as blood cleaning agents. Both Organic Burdock (Arctium lappa) as well as Organic Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) works together in this particular tea to facilitate the elimination of toxins. As contaminants find their way coming from our air, food and water into the tissues of our own bodies, they tend to get a heavy toll and can get in the way with the normal functions of the body organ systems. As a result, we are often left feeling inflamed, worn out, heavy or perhaps even backed up, and as though we could use a few rebalancing.

DeTox is actually a soft way of combating this condition as it assists the entire body to clean itself out simply by aiding the two primary filtering mechanisms, the liver and the kidneys. We have included Indian Sarsaparilla within this formula, which is acknowledged for both its scrumptious flavor and its purifying attributes. Organic Juniper Berry facilitates kidney function, whilst the most famous Ayurvedic cleansing blend, called trikatu (Organic Ginger, Organic Black Pepper and Long Pepper), is a moderate warming system, appropriate for everyone. Simply because it has no unpleasant laxatives as well as diuretics, DeTox is mild enough to end up being utilized every day for up to 30 days. more info

Since I started drinking this tea, my skin is clearer than ever, my energy levels have increased and I really enjoy the quality of the tea. I would recommend this to anyone who is having a lifestyle change or is wanting to rejuvenate themselves … my opinion a winner in combination to a healthy diet.

    Good tasting

My husband both love the taste of this tea and my daughter came over and I gave her a cup and she asked me the name of it. She doesn’t usually ask that. I save a dollar a box over the grocery store price where I buy my groceries. Good deal- Great taste. I like Yogi teas in general.

    One of the best teas….

I’ve been drinking this tea now for 3 weeks straight. The first weeks I was only drinking in the morning after my workouts and it really helped boost my energy in the morning and was a great part of my morning breakfast. I also notice that my skin cleared up really nicely. I’ve never had problem skin but it is smoother now than ever before so I believe the detoxing benefits are kicking in. This last week, I’ve been drinking it after I get home from work, before dinner and I just can’t seem to go a day without it. Very soothing and the taste isn’t bad at all. Would recommend it to everyone. I’m not a big tea drinking but I will buy this tea in bulk because it really makes a difference.

    This is my favorite

I have been using this tea for years. I enjoy the taste, the smell, and the affect it has on me. I usually drink coffee or green tea, but I keep this tea handy and drink a couple of times a week. Whenever I start feeling like I’m getting sick, I use it, leaving the bags to steep as I drink it. The stronger it is, the more affect. I also give it to my friends and family whenever they are feeling ill.

    Tastes Great

I can’t really speak to the Detox effectiveness but this is the first herbal tea I’ve ever really liked the taste of. I make one cup of tea, add a little packet of stevia then put it in a 32 oz jug of water and chill. Even diluted that much it still has a nice flavor to me. I love my Starbucks Iced Venti Soy Chai Tea but my waistline doesn’t. So between this and General Foods International Chai Latte (Sugar-Free) I’m staying clear of Starbucks.

    Yummy tea!

This tea was very smooth and comforting. I usually don’t go for anything licorice flavored, but found that this tea is a nice combo of chai flavors with some anise undertones. I think it would be more than tolerable to someone who hates black licorice like I do! I’m not sure if it actually detoxes, but after drinking it (with food) for about 3 days I started getting rid of water weight and felt more alert without being caffenated which is definitely a plus. I had a little more energy and my mood calmed a bit. I think it needs to be consumed for a longer period of time maybe 2 weeks or more in order to really feel results, but that’s the basic principle when it comes to detoxing with any tea or diet foods. I only had 3 bags of it so obviously it would have benefitted me had I a few boxes of this stuff. Good tea!

    Delicious Tea But Be Careful!

But if you have high blood pressure, skip it!! Even small amounts of black licorice root can raise your blood pressure to unhealthy levels. The licorice in the tea is only there to add sweetness.

Similar taste to chai, good results
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love this tea! I think it tastes a lot like black chai. I don’t usually like licorice but the other flavors blend well and I enjoy the slight bitterness of this tea.

I also think it does help my body get rid of toxins. I’m looking forward to trying some of the other teas in this line.

It does cause you to have more bowel movements.

But causes stomach cramps after 7 days and blood in stool.

Do not recommend you drink this more than few days.

Anybody want to buy some sealed boxes, only used the first one?

This product used to be excellent. Recently its quality has gone way down and they changed the box…it makes no sense why they’d change their best tea like that.

Not the same tea; cheaper, weaker
    Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I have loved this tea for years. Now I find that the blend has changed: less organic ingredients, substitutions. The taste is weaker and the color has changed from clear yellow to reddish. And the box has gone from this interesting, colorful carton with lovely sayings to a cheap, thin, unattractive box that screams “Made in India as cheaply as possible.” I’m looking for another Detox tea. Why mess with a great product?

nice taste, if not a little strong. it does it’s job well but it is not a detox that replaces fiber. it is more of a detox for your entire system. one thing to make note of is that it states not to use for more than one month at a time

The combination of ginger, pepper and sarsaparilla is delicious and distinctive. This tea gives me energy without the negative side effects of caffeine. It’s good any time, although I especially enjoy it for an afternoon lift.

    Yogi Detox Tea

I was recommended to drink this by a former American medic who had done a tour in Iraq. I’m not sure if I can even discern the level of effectiveness, but I seem to feel like I have flushed out some toxins, based on the lessening of some ill feeling I was experiencing before taking the month-long experiment of using it three times a day. All my study on the ingredients leads me to believe that I chose the best of the versions of a detoxifying drink. The price was right, too.
