Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice is an herb tea that is 100% Natural. It has a creamy and sweet flavor that adds to the delicious property of this mixture of spices and herbs. It has a zesty blend of exotic flavors including its ginger, cinnamon, and some cardamom which awakens your senses. Its additional vanilla adds to its creamy quality.

You can discover the sweet and spicy flavor in a cup of Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice. You can also add cream or milk to experience the traditional Indian Chai spiced tea. Celestial Seasonings have four strong distinct flavors yet each of the ingredients blend nicely together, which makes this tea perfect for an after dinner drink as you are relaxing by the fire, or sitting outside with your guests, and even while you are working, too.

Some people try it will a little bit of milk. Be careful, though. Adding too much might spoil the experience, and you would end up tasting the milk more than the tea. But, if you particularly prefer Indian Chai Tea, you can always add a little more milk as this usually what makes it.

Celestial Seasonings Herb Tea is basically a delicious tea which comprises of various types of spices – cinnamon, roasted carob, roasted chicory, vanilla flavors, and some natural spice as well as other natural flavors including cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, black pepper, and cloves. Its distinctive ingredient is unlike any other tea, and it has a very strong spice yet taste pleasant. It is also caffeine-free, so you can drink it even in the evening without the usual side effects. Celestial Seasonings also come in recycled materials. In that way, you can enjoy the benefits of a tea without having to think if you are helping end the world or something.

Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice is highly recommended to those people who like Chai Tea as it taste almost the same, without the milk. more info

Delightfully spicy tea! I like to pop a teabag into a bottle with half water and half apple juice. Yum. Price here is about that of Celestial Seasonings teas in our local stores but this particular variety is difficult to find for some reason.

I received a sample of this tea from FatWallet & have been addicted for over two years now. My pantry is full of every flavor they make but this is by far the best. WOW–the best part of my day is getting up & curling up for “Tea Time” with my dog. Life is good!!! You must make it the English way with a touch of milk & honey. Chai just means adding lots of milk & sweetner to it for that smooth taste.

Bengal Spice is my favorite tea of all time. It has a perfect blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla. It doesn’t need sweetener of any kind!!!. Try it, I think you’ll agree.

This is a very good version of Indian chai, a mixture of black tea and various spices. The exact balance of spices in all versions of chai will vary of course. This version is sort of in between the Northern Indian version and the Pakistani version. It has more of a butterscotch sweetness to it and is less likely to give you digestive trouble.

    Crazy good

I bought this after reading the fine reviews for it. I was looking for Morning Thunder because it had caffeine and yerba mate. Six boxes Thunder and six Bengal… by and far Bengal has been my favorite. It’s interesting how the black pepper mixes in with the other flavors… definitely a huge wow factor. I’ve never really been into tea, but this has been so sweet to start each day at work. No caffeine too!

    Was not expecting this!

Alright, I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting much when I picked this box up off the grocery store shelf for $2.34. I used to drink my favorite loose leaf green teas at night, but when I started working earlier, even the green kept me up. I needed to lose the caffeine. I love spice, so I went with the kitty box here, Bengal Spice.

I can’t believe this is less than 12 cents a cup. Right when you open the pouch you’re overwhelmed with this amazing sweet smell of cinnamon and spice. It only gets better. The whole room ends up smelling like a bakery while you’re steeping it, and it tastes as great as it smells. Now I’ve got all my jars of fine loose leaf green teas, and one jar with the kitty box attached to it filled with Bengal Spice tea bags. It has carved out a spot in my collection for years to come. Forget dessert, it’s in the cup.

…I recommend that you try this tea. I admit that I used to drink this tea, I then tried another tea, which also has a very strong cinnamon flavor, and then I decided to try this one again. I did not know how good I had it. I am so happy that I came back to this tea. It is without a doubt a winner.

Bengal Spice tea is rich with cinnamon and a hint of sweetness. I drink it with or without honey- it’s great either way. The aroma is fantastic! My nine year old daughter likes it too- though she doesn’t steep her bag so long, as the sharp “spice” can be a bit overwhelming for her if allowed to become strong.

I have to add that we love the artwork on this box as well. All the Celestial Seasoning boxes are nice, but this one is exceptionally beautiful.

If you love cinnamon red hots, this is it in liquid form.

I make iced tea; it is not for the faint of heart and very unique.

    Very fragrant and cinnamon-y

This tea is Very fragrant, esp. the cloves and cinnamon, I think the taste takes a little getting used to, especially if you don’t drink herbal tea on a regular basis – its strong on the cinnamon !

I have loved Bengal Spice for years. The natural food store I used to purchase it from doesn’t carry it any more, nor does the lcoal vitamin store. I found it on Amazon and I was delighted. The tea was not in that wonderful box with the tiger sprawling, not that a box makes a difference. The boxes and bags were smaller. I used to be able to make two rip roaring cups and if I left my cup overnight, I would be greeted by that aroma next morning. Not so much this. I couldn’t get much flavor from even the first bag and I have six boxes. I am on a mission to find one of the old boxes to see whether my palate has changed or whether I just got a weak batch. I want my old Bengal Spice.

    Bengal Spice Herbal Tea
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Celstial Seasonings makes a wide variety of excellent teas, of which Bengal Spice is my favorite. Naturally caffeine free – it contains no tea leaves but rather is totally herbal – I like it with milk and a bit of sugar. It is very aromatic and very much like a true India “Chai” tea. We serve it often to friends who all love it too. Ingredients are cinnamon, roasted chicory and carob, natural spice and vanilla flavor, ginger, cardamom, black pepper, cloves and nutmeg. Wow!! It is especially convenient to purchase from Amazon, as I typically find it hard to find in local – even large – supermarkets.

Bengal spice tea from Celestial Seasonings is the greatest tea in the whole world. I have 6 boxes of tea to get me through the rest of the years.

I’ve loved this tea for years and am no longer able to find it in the local grocery stores. Surprising since I live in a major metropolitan area…

Besides hot, it’s my beverage of choice – as SUN TEA – in the summer – no added sweetening necessary. If you like cinnamon & vanilla, try it!!
